04/19/2011
US cotton stocks are at a record low, according to a US Department of Agriculture report issued earlier this month.
Cotton crop levels from 2010 sit at 1.6 million bales, according to USDA’s monthly supply-demand report, issued April 8, Southeast Farm Press reported.
The USDA reduced old-crop stocks from its March estimate of 1.9 million.
